One of the 9 tunnels on the South Pennsylvania Railroad alignment that was later bought to become the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Was bypassed during initial construction in favor of a rock cut. Western Portal is closed, Eastern portal is still open, albeit in rough conditions. 116.0 mile marker.
