A long snaking building (#0484, CHEM) composed of four structures built over the years: 1928, 1939, 1959, and 1972, referred by different wings ("'72 wing"). It also connects to the Chemistry Annex Building via skywalk on all levels but the first (and the basement). The Chemistry Annex Building is almost always referred to as the "'86 wing" of the Chemistry Building.

Comments

  • Even the 1986 building has oddly low ceilings.
  • For reference: the building at Spence & Ross is the '86 wing. Connected to it is the '72 wing. The '59 wing has the white roof, the '39 wing is the one that faces the plaza, and the '28 wing is the one facing Ross Street (next to the '86 wing).
  • And the large auditorium (Room 100) was built sometime after the rest of the 1939 wing was completed.
