Semaria is a religious village. Here is Sringi Rishi (Jinhone raja Dashrath ke yaha putra prapti ke liye yagya karwaya tha) temple, Nath Baba temple. There is Lord's Ram charan paduka(sandle of wood) at Nath baba. Goutam rishi ashram is also situated near this village. Goutam rishi was husband of Ahlya (Jo apne hi pati ke shap se patthr ban gayi thi aur Sri Ram Chandra ji ne apne pair ke sparsh se unko dubara nari banaya tha). This village is situated at bank of holi river saryu. Dr. Prabhu Nath Singh (former finance minister of bihar) was also resident of this village. This village in Revelganj municipality in district Chapra (old name Saran). Dr. Rajendra Prasad the first President of India was also belong to our district. Jai Prakash Narayan was also belong from our district of sitab diyara (new name Jai Prakash Nagar).
