This was one of those really fascinating places where we spent a lot weekends watching real good theatre in telugu, sometimes in english too, but it was worth it, all of it. I personally acted on that stage, twice, once as Lakshmana, alongwith Rajesh & Papay, who played Lord Raama & Sita, alongwith Mallika as Lord Hanuman,second time I played a drunkard in astreet play, intersting ones, coined by the Arts and Theatre Group of A U. This played host to more than a 100 plays of what I remember in my 14 years of stay in Sea Sands, but after that also it ran for another 5 to 6 years I guess, but now it is closed and only remains only asa memory on our minds, lovely system of doors it had, and one of the finest green rooms(where the celebrities- like me had a chance to grace shoulders with the others).
