This land is formed by the river Shankosh or branch of Shankosh with sand and alluvial soil.An wellknown person named Biswanath Das (Bishu Das) lives here with their relatives and other neighbour whose most are das in cast.A big part is washed by River Raidhak-2.There is a primary school. A few students read there.They suffer every year with flood.
