Adyar River (Koovam)/will change soon

i've been familiar with this place since 5yrs
it is the same. do u really think it will change

This not the Koovum...this is the Adyar Estuary and has always been so...it was recently dredged by Jayalalithas' Govt. even though there were a lot of protests from environmentalists...all the sedimentation and habitats of the local estuarine birds have now been destroyed...quite unfortunately

This is not the cooum river... This is the ADYAR RIVER...The Cooum River is the famous river which ends in the city of Chennai (formerly Madras) in southern India on the Bay of Bengal. The river almost bisects the city.

Cooum is predominantly runing along the Northern Chennai while Adyar river extends from the South west to South. It empties into the Adyar River basin/estuary along the Theosophical society. Cooum is extending further north into Andhra border.
