why is such a large area in the heart of the city not utilized in a better manner? Can the army not move out of the city limits for their training?
I'm not asking to "commercialize" this land - but use it to develop something that the public can use.. like a park or something..

Let it be with Army for ever so that the Greedy citizens do not cut down the trees.......at least there is some greenery here.......

The area is absolutely green and has been further planted with a lot of trees.In the years to come it will serve as the vital lung space for the city. Give it to politicians/ civil builders, the entire eco-system there will be gone for ever.

this is actually a river. donno how it went to army. one can trace it to bellandur lake, varthur lake, bagalur, avalapalli dam, krishnagiri reservoir, sathanur dam, thirukovilur, pondicherry and cuddalore to bay of bengal. its called then pennai river

To bay of bengal?? Are you referring to a Maharaja or Tipu sultans era's map or something? How can you say such a thing w/o adequate proof? provide a link
