US Coast Guard Sector Miami is responsible for all Coast Guard missions extending from Malabar to the southern end of Caesar’s Creek extending seaward approximately 30 miles and encompassing Lake Okeechobee inland. Additionally the Captain of the Port stationed here has jurisdiction that extends from the southwesterly tip of Cape Romano, FL.
