Barrie Tornado (Barrie)

A devastating tornado struck the Painswick and Allandale areas of Barrie on 31 May, 1985 resulting in 8 deaths, 155 injuries, and 300 destroyed homes and businesses.

Shear Park is NOT named after the tornado. It was named Shear park long before the 1980s.
