It was built during the heyday of the circus life in order of the 'Cercle Equestre Gantois' and had an eventful history.
There were amazing circus shows, revues, variety shows and film screenings place.
The first building was destroyed by fire in 1920 and resurrected in 1923.
After the last circus, on June 4 1944 the doors on the 'Nouveau Cirque' closed for good.
In 1947, the circus transformed in to a garage which closed in 1978.
After thirty years of vacancy in the building finds a dilapidated state,
but he who enters the building, is affected by unique atmosphere and symbolism that it exudes.
