Also the former site of Skate on State during the winter season.
After many difficulties and false starts, the complex known as 108 North State is nearing completion in 2008. It will house a street-level studio for WBBM Television and shopping in the base with towers containing a hotel and condominiums.
Under the complex, the CTA is constructing a large transit center which will feature a check-in facility for O'Hare and Midway Airports and and express airport trains.
