this is the place where mahindra , the Utility vehicle giant makes the vehicles. In the same plant the world famous Jeep is still manufactured but with some other name.
This is one of the biggest industrial land in mumbai situated in the most happening place near thakur village.
The plant consist of Vehicle PU ( assy line), Engine PU( where engines are mfg for kandivili models), Transmission PU ( all Gear boxes ) , Axle PU ( all axles of SUV), Body PU ( all body panels including painting), Foundry PU ( engine block & cylinder head of engine),Canteen ( food for thought), AD bldg ( administration bldg).
In the campus the most amazing thing is u ll find a hill & on that there is a small temple
