Fort Hunt


Fort Hunt was named April 13, 1899 in honor the late Colonel and Brevet Major General Henry J. Hunt, U.S. Army.

1890s-era fort that guarded the river approach to Washington, D.C., now a public park and picnic area.

Home of the infamous WW2 PO Box 1142 Interrogation Centre.
