Appa Valavu is owned by the sons of Supramniam (Burudi). Supramaniam built a house for his eldest son here. The land is owned by the 5 brothers, Kangatharan, Karunakaran, Sujendiran, Kannathasan and Kugathasan.
It was at this house Supramaniam was assasinated in 1997 at the entrance of the house.
