Xavier School Nuvali (Calamba)

Philippines / Southern Tagalog / Puting Kahoy / Calamba
 campus, elementary school, private school

Also called Xavier School South, construction of this 15-hectare campus started on March 14, 2010 and became operational in June 2012.

Unlike the original Xavier School in Greenhills, San Juan which is exclusive for boys, this school will be co-educational and envisions to provide scholarship to 25% of its total student population.

As an added boost to the school, Mr. Henry Sy, through his SM Foundation, has underwritten the construction of the primary school building, one of three main facilities scheduled in the first phase of development.

The building, which will be named the Henry Sy Primary School Building, started construction in June and will be completed in time for the school opening on June 2012.

Xavier School Nuvali will be administered by Xavier School (San Juan) and will offer the same Xavier education, designed as a college preparatory curriculum with a core Chinese studies program.

Note that all the sons of Henry Sy, Sr. were educated in Xavier School: Henry, Jr. (Batch ‘70), Hans (Batch ’73), Herbert (Batch ‘75) and Harley (Batch ‘76). Hans Sy currently sits on the board of trustees of the Xavier School Educational and Trust Fund.

First phase (grade school) was completed on June 2012.
