Camerton Court was built by the Jarrett family, to a design by George Repton (son of Humphry Repton), in 1838-40, replacing an earlier manor house. In 1956 the Court was granted Grade II listed status.
Camerton Court has very extensive and beautiful formal gardens, recently restored. It opens only once a year, but the grounds may be glimpsed from a public footpath which crosses the estate.
