  This was to be named ramrao Adik Bridge. Just before the innauguration, there was an incident wherein the minister was involved, abroad Lufthansa Airlines flight to Germany. The name of Adik was hastily removed and Ravindra Mhatre who was Indian High Commissioner in Uk & was a taret of terrorist assacination, that week was honoured by naming the bridge after him. Adiks followers broke many cement slabs on this bridge in protest. We are happy that we do not have to cros "Adik" bridge every day.

  People living near this once beautiful river have made it so dirty now by throwing garbage into it everyday that it has become a drain. I am really sad to see this river dying slowly.
