The Puthoorpally Juma Masjid is situated in the heart of the town, opposite to the State Transport Office (KSRTC) at Changanachery. This ancient masjid is said to have been built around 600 years back. The Puthoorpally 'Jama-ath' is one of the largest 'Jama-aths' in the state. Its contributions for maintaining the communal harmony of this locality, are substantial.
