"Old Ford Nature Reserve is a most attractive area adjacent to the western end of the Greenway. It is leased to the London Wildlife Trust and consists of grassland, tall herbaceous vegetation and scrub, surrounded by trees. Ant hills are present. Although it is not accessible to the public, it can be clearly viewed over the gate from the Greenway."
