This large area is the site of the Pascack Valley Shopping Center which has been around since the early 1950's The original center had: a Bowling Alley, a fruit store, picture frame store, an Italian restaurant, an Eyeglasses store, A1 Photo, Marshalls, Harmon, A Card Store, Laundromat, Nail Salon, Electrolux Vacuums, Food Store and a Washington Mutual Bank. (and that was just the attached part). There also used to be a Movie Theater,Flinstone's Car Shop, and a Post Office. (Oldest in town) Now that was all replaced with a New Marshalls, a Super Stop & Shop, a new chase bank, a Verizon store, a new laundromat and a Dollar store
