Peñablanca is a coastal municipality in the province of Cagayan in the Philippines. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 42,736 people.

It is one of the largest municipalities of the Philippines in terms of land area. There are more or less 360 caves in the municipality. It is here where you can visit the famous Callao Caves a seven chambered cave with a chapel. It is in this municipality where you can also visit the beautiful, fascinating and challenging Cave, the Sierra Cave.

  • This is a good place to visit someday. My great grandparents are from Cagayan Valley but unfortunately I never been there...I know about Callao Cave but I never visit it yet...

  • this is a place governed by a land grabber mayor, a logging queen, became very rich without any known visible business
  • this place is beautiful especially the callao cave :) it's so lovely but one of the barangay in this place don't even have a brgy. hall for more than a decade already. crap! you will even waste time finding the house of a (brgy. captain) just to finish your requirement for the enrollment.
