The Yugoslav era Martyrs' Monument honors the partisans that died during the liberation of the region in World War II. The monument consists of a platform with a metal globe shape on a stick, surrounded by several concrete shells sticking out of the ground. It appears that it has been somewhat ignored and vandalized, however it has a haunting way that draws you in. The hill also offers great views over the city and the mountains beyond.
