The Friends of Jose Marti Park is a lot in the Ybor City Historic District which was donated as park land to the government of Cuba prior to that country's communist revolution. The park today remains officially the property of the Republic of Cuba. It contains soil from all provinces of the island, as well as memorial statues of two heros of Cuban Independence, Jose Marti and Antonio Maceo Grajales.
