This loco shed holds YDM-4 Meter Gauge Diesel locomotives. POH, ROH is carried out in this shed. These YDM-4 haul trains in the isolated MG route from Ratlam to Khandwa Via Indore, Mhow & from ujjain to Fatehabad Chandrawati Ganj (on Indore Ratlam MG route).

In the heydays, this place was a dedicated Steam shed till early 90's. Several YP & YG locos were homed there.

Around 8-10 defunct YP steam locomotives are still lying in the yard outside the Diesel shed.
