Chandurkar square is named after a renowned family of Late N.B.Chandurkar. He was an eminent lawyer of his time. He died in April 1973. The square is surrounded by the houses of four families namely Chandurkar, Jejani, Kelkar and Ranka. Two roads i.e. Abhyankar Road and Chitale Marg intersect on this square.
