In this spot in the 17th century was an inn for Jewish merchants, and a wooden synagogue. It was named for an early owner, Bartholomäus Buquoi, and was first mentioned in 1612 as "Pokquaies-Hoff". The current building was built in 1910 by the architect K. Heintz, and was renovated as a shopping arcade. It was renovated 2008-2012.
