Convenience store. At one time, a Husky gas station operated out of the same location, but it was removed in 2006. Prior to the Husky station it was a Tempo service station, called Lai's Central Service.
When workers were excavating to remove the tanks, they found human remains at the bottom of what used to be a well. It was determined that they were those of a woman who died from foul play in the early 1900s. This century-old unsolved murder is now in the police department's historical case files.
