This is the place from where Jihad against Indian Mehraja started in 1948. Brave people of region Rawalakot started war with the help of big stones i.e. by gathering big stones on this big height and started rolling them against regular indian army who had proper guns but Mujahedeen successfully pushed indian army back while they were advancing towards Rawalakot.

During the war against the indian troops in 1947, people of many villages surrounding dothan village was gathered in particular area named "shuda-abad" and thrown stones on the indian army. during this attack 5 mujahids myrtyred by the indian troops which was belonging to dothan koyan and chottagala.
