The Co-op Hall (Nuneaton)

United Kingdom / England / Nuneaton

Now demolished, the building was known as the Co-operative Hall and was a good example of Art Deco architecture. Back in its heyday, it was used as a venue for gigs (the Rolling Stones and The Beatles played here) and a dance hall.

Subsequent reincarnations saw the building's ground floor become the now defunct Kwik Save supermarket whilst the first floor hall become 'The Old Hall' and was hired out for functions. The hall had many other guises such as the venue for a failed entertainment venture called 'House Of Laser' (an indoor laser tag game) and a video games arcade.
