Gubat is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Sorsogon, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 52,707 people in 10,876 households.
This town's white-sand beaches to the east that faces the Pacific Ocean are well-known in surrounding towns and cities.One famous beach is the Rizal Beach Resort which hosts the PhilHobie Challenge
