Abbaspur consists of around 100,000 people within two Galies nameded as Mahmoud Gali and Bari Gali. The Area named as "Taat". Abbaspur has different tribes mainly Gujar, Maldiyal & Khawajas known as majority tribes. Other tribes such as Sadat, Awan, Malik, Sheikh, Duli, Sudhan, Querashi, Kayani, Minhas etc. are found in minority but the important thing is that being having multi tribal area violance rate is very low. There is no muder, theift and personal harassment etc. Some unpleasent events happed during political campaign but very few. The main reason for this "PEACE" is the "Education" specially women education. The revolution in the education sector came after 1976 spacially in women when one of the resident of neighberong town (Nakkar Kot)joined the Colege as English Professor. His name is Prof. Muhammad Anwar. He used to go to house to house to teach the sutudents (girls & boys) free of any charge and motivate the people regardles of family, cast, and personal sympaythies towards education not only to make the people "literate" but to have higher education in every field. Presently you may surprized that mejority of the weomen in the "TAAT" area are higly qualified and many are studying in different cities of Pakistan. Few years back male professers are teaching in women college but now almost all female and mostly local professors/lecturers have joined the institute. This revolution changed the mind of the people towards educations and consequently the whole society is changed. Therefore if you compaire Abbaspur with other neighbeoring areas the crime rate is very minimal. There are many other things to be included may be some time later.Bye
