Situated on the 95-acre "Glenclyffe" property, formerly the estate of Hamilton Fish, Governor of New York and later Secretary of State under President Grant. The seminary building was the former Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Mary stone and brick monastery and seminary on the parcel in 1923. The "Glenclyffe" main residence has also been retained and adaptively reused.
