Originally a 6 train 7.68M MT/year LNG liquefaction and 335,000 BPD oil refinery. In April 2004, during a routine boiler maintenance, an explosion occurred which completely destroyed compression trains 20,30 and 40, but the remaining 10, 5P, and 6P were left intact and production restarted in November 2004. Reconstruction for the 3 trains was started in July 2007 by KBR targeting a 4.5M MT/year production along with LPG and condensate recovery. Planned to be operational by 2008-2009.
