 hotel, ruins

Left in ruins and later demolished, due to slump in tourism and sustained mortar fire. Once Somalia's premier hotel, the al-Uruba Hotel once catered to dignitaries and wealthy tourists from its beautiful seaside location. Unfortunately, the building was left a shell by the constant warfare which has plagued Somalia for the last several decades.
