KVR Jura Loops

The former Kettle Valley Railway line had to descend a great height from the Hayes Creek valley at Jura into Princeton. To maintain a 2.2% grade over this abrupt descent, KVR chief engineer Andrew McCulloch laid out this series of broad loops through the open rangeland.

This rail grade now forms part of the Trans Canada Trail
