  • Mayasandra, Turuvekere taluk is my place of birth. My date of birth is 8-12-1942. Late Putta Shastrigalu is my grand father. I passed Lower Secondary from Mayasandra middle school. One Mr Shallu s/o Late Ramanuja Iyengar is my good friend there. My stay at Mayasandra was so interesting that I remember frequently. My Grand father's house is just opposite the Ramadevara gudi. Late Ramanuja Iyengar was the Vadyayar. Frends of my time in Mayasandra may even now remember those good days we spent together there. Of course, Mayasandra kere Kodi, Chikkasettikere, Ramasagara and our mavinathopu etc., are the places we used to visit often. It is all history now. I am happy that Haasyanata Jaggesh is from this place. I now reside in the city of palaces, Mysuru since five years. Namaste Mayasandra.
