Madh Island is a small and charming village and can be found in the north of Mumbai city. Despite being referred as an island, Madh is actually a peninsula separated by narrow part of mangrove on one side and sand on another. Madh offers an appealing coastline next to the Arabian Sea. This is known for being an affluent area, with highlights including the historic Madh Fort. Can be reached by Ferry (run by BEST bus service) and by road from Borivali.
