  • Like how Lord rama learnt and gained a lot of virtue by spending 14 years in the forest, my aranya gandam of 14 years was with SSSSSS. Since 1983 till 1997 (from LKG to 12th) I have relished every single moment of life spent in this wonder paradise of Sankara, also addressed as #9, Vasantha Press Road. I still relish and remember the (old) main building which was demolished in the early nineties after the TAR block took it's complete shape and room. Memories will remain on each corridor of Kedros Block, Madhuram Narayanan block, the PT/CCA rooms and the Old Library(also demolished to pave way for playgrounds for the kinder garten. The huge Neem tree, the Badham Tree, parking area behind TAR block, and the ever lovable tamarind tree alongside the basketball court. My best part of life was and will ever be this School. Love you Sankara :-). If I happen to be come back to India/Chennai(Home) in the future, I would love to have my child enrolled to thyis school.
  • Class of 1986 Passout. 7 Glorious years with fabulous teachers who literally sculpted me. Nov 2009, we have formed the Alumni group for Sankara Senior. {pls look into Linkedin groups to know more} 2011 we will be having our silver jubilee celebrations.
