There is plenty temples located in chiyyaram (Mudappilav Mahavishnu temple, Madhavapuram Dhanwanthari temple Thiruthoor Siva temple Ollukavu Sapthamatha temple, Karmukku temple).One church and a convent with a UP School(St Marys CUP School, Many shops are available (Ready made, Grocery and Bakery). Also one Beauty Parlour (Sreevalsam Beauty Parlour) located in chiyyaram, near Craze Biscuit Company. One film studio for film shooting purpose also available (Galilio).   • Chiyyaram is a village where people are very co-oprative. There is a very attratactive church and a very old convent in this place. There is also a Railway bridge called "Nasrani Palam" which was built by British. 60% of the people are Christians (Catholics). This place is about 3 to 4 Km away from Trichur Town.
