The Shepherd-Sloss Building is a 1.5-story terra-cotta-clad commercial building constructed in 1928. The corner space has housed the Cadillac Cafe, Louie Louie, Bell Bottoms and other nightclubs. A now-removed animated rooftop sign for Buffalo Rock, and later for Barber's Milk and Ice Cream, was a landmark in Five Points South for many years.
