Notre Damme Des Missions Churchtown, Dublin. This was the convent section of a school in Dublin 14. At some point the Sisters withdrew from the running of the school. The Convent part of the school was sold to a developer who has not fully destroyed it (yet). This video shows the area around "Fernbank House", the now overgrown walled garden at the rear of the house, and a limited number of interior shots (due to a lack of light). Past pupils may find it a little depressing.
From the Irish Independant (2006):
"PLANS for a €130m apartment development next to Notre Dame school in Churchtown, Dublin 14, have been submitted by Park Developments. The plans include an innovative house style known as a triplex house which will accommodate four bedrooms as well as 255 one- and two-bedroom apartments. In addition there will be duplex units making for a total of 298 homes in all. Some of the buildings on the site including Fernbank House are to to retained and refurbished for use as a creche."
