Pampierstad is a town in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. The town lies in the northern part of the Vaalharts irrigation scheme and 14 km from Hartswater. Most residents are Tswana speaking. As of 2011 Pampierstad had a population of 21,707.
Pampierstad was initially established in the former Bophuthatswana bantustan to house black workers of South African industries and farms. The name comes from the type of cardboard that was used to construct the first houses.
