Large peninsula in Argentina's Chubut Province. Mostly barren and uninhabited, the Peninsula is famed for its wildlife. This includes mammals such as Sea Lions and Elephant Seals, Orcas and Guanacos, as well as birds such as Lesser Rhea and Magellanic Penguin. It is also home to one of Argentina's 16 endemic bird species, the Chubut Steamer Duck.
