La Balcarce Street (Salta)

it's an area where you can find nice reaturants (local food included, regional dishes, empanadas or "saltenias pies"), local music dancing (folck music), pubs, "al fresco" bars with tables on "La Balcarce street", and a couple of night clubs as well, this area is "open" till late. During daylight this is an atractive market area where you can find local artesany, "platery", ponchos, etc. "la Balcarce" is only 10 minutes walking from the centre of Salta (Plaza 9 de Julio).
