  Transfer from Larnaca 1 hour Hotel clean and bright although decoration not new. Although we have since found out that the hotel was the first to be built in the area, after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, and the UN buffer zone being established making Famagusta a ghost town. It was built originally as two blocks then the central section only being added around 10 years ago. We have found lots of holidaymakers appear to return regularly year after year. Eating Breakfast Is taken in the breakfast dining room, good selection of food and drinks from Cereals, fried bacon, eggs, potatoes, scrambled and boiled eggs too. Good selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit breads and cakes. Ground Coffee (from a machine), chocolate, tea and juices. Dinner Is served in the beach front Taverna, which as the evening progresses becomes a romantic setting especially when the moon rises over the small bay it overlooks. There is a nice selection of starters, salads, meats, and fish with vegetarian alternatives. There is plenty of sweets and fruit available and real custard with the apple crumble. Room Our Twin bedded ground floor room with en-suite cleaned daily. Basic, clean but tired, but this part of the hotel is yet to be re-furbished. A Fridge is an extra €20 a week and is very useful, a safety deposit box €12 per week. Pool Not as big as it looks on Google Earth, but warmer than the sea and that was warm (bottom temperature when diving 24°and higher at 12 metres). No lifeguard on duty at anytime. The animation team do daily Aquarobics and they get in the pool too (unlike in Sharm). Animation There is a four person crew employed by the hotel lead by Vicki (the Vickster),three are English (Vicki, Phil, Zoe) with Thomas who is a French student. They do a morning and afternoon program of games, then often in the evening put on a show when there is not an outside entertainer booked
