Dinwiddy House (London)

United Kingdom / England / London / Pentonville Road, 189

Dinwiddy House is the hall of residence for many first year students of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London). It was opened in 1996 and is now operated by Shaftesbury Student Housing.
A main attraction of Dinwiddy House is its great location, friendly atmosphere and excellent support staff. It boasts 510 single en-suite rooms set around a landscaped courtyard which helps to provide a communal spirit.
For the safety and security of residents Dinwiddy House has an entry card system, 24-hour security staff and CCTV cameras in and around the building.
All residents have access to a common room with TV, DVD, pool table and vending machines. For added convenience there are on-site launderette and bike storage facilities.
Since 1st July 2007 all of our residences operate a No Smoking policy throughout the buildings in line with the new UK Government legistlation.
