This was once Cashmax Title & Loan, the last in a group of businesses that never stuck around for more than a few years in this once run-down shopping center building. As of 2007, this was All-American Sleep & Mattress and from 2009 to early 2012, it was College Station CrossFit (a gym). In November 2016, construction began to completely gut the building inside and out, with 1937 Texas Avenue being combined with 1935 and 1933 to form one larger space for Stanton Optical, which opened in spring 2017.
