church, Roman Catholic church
The Mother Church of Cleveland’s Polish community, St. Stanislaus was the second largest gothic church in the United States when it was built over 114 years ago in 1886. On June 22, 1976, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. An award-winning restoration and renovation, completed in November 1998, has made this church one of the most stunning in all of Ohio and a must-see for any visitor to Slavic Village. Guided tours are available for groups or come on your own during normal office hours.
