Ranades are Bharadwaj Rushi Kulotpanna, hence name of the house is given in the Smruti of Rushi Guru Bharadwaj. Once upon a time Ranade Family was Savkar family of the area having hundreds of acres of land and salt lakes, where the salt business was being carried. After RCf project the salt business is total standstill.
