School # 110 named after Taras Shevchenko, build after the Great Earthquake with help of Ukraine, it became one of the most prestige schools in the city. It is frequently visited by the Ukrainian president. Although in Tashkent, students go to school according to the district they live in, many students from all over Tashkent go to this school, as it is widely known for its advanced education.
